A New Program to “spark” Indigenous Tourism ideas in BC 🌟
Destination BC, Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC), and the Tourism Innovation Lab have partnered together to launch a program that will help “spark” new Indigenous ideas and experiences celebrating and promoting Indigenous culture and communities in BC. Interested Indigenous entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply before January 18.

WorkSafeBC is recruiting young workers aged 18–24 to participate in an online dialogue session. The session will collect feedback from participants to find new ways for WorkSafeBC to connect with young workers on workplace health and safety. Selected participants will receive a $150 honorarium for participating in and completing a two-hour online dialogue session. Register before February 3.

The BC Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA BC) and go2HR have partnered to create an online portal for mental health and wellness resources specifically for the Tourism and Hospitality industry. The portal includes information and resources about mental health, access to training, coaching support and more. Workplace mental health has never been more important.
