Nominations for the 2023 Tourism and Hospitality Awards are now extended to December 22 at 11:59pm, and go2HR is sponsoring the Employees First Award! This award is given to an employer in the tourism and hospitality sector who has shown high standards in human resources excellence with a focus on mental health. The BC Tourism & Hospitality Conference is March 1-3, 2023
The BC Hotel Association (BCHA) and the Tourism Industry Association of British Columbia (TIABC) are excited to announce that the 2023 BC Tourism & Hospitality Conference is returning from March 1 to 3, 2023. The 2023 conference will take place in Prince George and will bring an array of unique industry speakers and topics relating to the next chapter of tourism and hospitality within our province. Thompson Rivers University and Sun Peaks Resort Announce a 5-Year Partnership!
Thompson Rivers University (TRU) and Sun Peaks Resort have partnered up to help connect TRU students with careers in tourism and hospitality. The resort donated to TRU’s Tourism Innovation Lab Fund, which helps students develop tourism business ideas, and also to TRU Trails to Reconciliation Fund, where students travel to Interior Indigenous communities to build mountain biking trails.
