Limits on Work Hours Lifted for International Students
As BC recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is taking action to address the current critical labor shortage. Recently, the government of Canada announced that it is temporarily lifting the limit on off-campus work hours for international students. This will allow international students to work while class is in session. This provides many international students with a greater opportunity to find valuable work experience, and will increase the availability of workers in response to our critical labor shortage.
