Each year, September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This federal statutory holiday was created through legislative amendments made by Parliament. The day honors the children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

Join the former Top Chef on September 27th at 10:00am for an hour long virtual session. Bird will be offering an engaging and informative session where attendees will learn tips on topics such as creating boundaries in demanding workplace environments.
The BC Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA BC) and go2HR have partnered to create an online portal for mental health and wellness resources specifically for the tourism and hospitality industry. The portal includes information and resources about mental health, access to training, coaching support and more. Workplace mental health has never been more important.
